Haig have recently completed the delivery of the fit-out of the new BODY WORLDS exhibition at the London Pavilion in Piccadilly Circus London. The museum showcases Dr Gunter von Hagan’s exhibition of real human bodies to provide an educational journey through the human body to discover what lies under the skin.
The 28,000 sq,ft fit out was completed in 10 weeks, this tight programme was achieved by extended working hours and a collaborative approach between the Bodyworlds team, Haig and the supply chain, who went above and beyond to ensure the October 18 opening date was met. As well as providing 3 floors of exhibition space the scope included the formation of a new entrance & retail area, event space, lecture space and support offices for the Bodyworlds team.
Damien Kenny – Managing Director said – “It is amazing to see what can be achieved in a short timetable when everyone on the project works to a common goal, I would like to thank everyone who worked with us on the project for achieving the Client’s goal and making what some thought impossible, possible”.
Interior Design for the scheme was completed by Matt Architecture, with Gerald Eve advising on planning approvals for the scheme.
